National Drone Hub 

The National Drone Hub combines facilities, expertise and airspace to create a cost effective sandbox for rapid capability development of drones and associated technologies.
Operated by Wholeship, in partnership with the Royal Navy and the Cornwall Aerospace & Space cluster: The National Drone Hub is a world leading facility for Beyond Visual Line Of Site (BVLOS) and Ship-Air Integration for drones.

Airspace

The National Drone Hub provides customers with access to over 5500 square kilometres of segregated airspace, from surface to 55,000 feet. 

The airspace supports BVLOS flight test and the essential data capture required for certification of complex drones, networks and sensors. 

Facilities

The National Drone Hub is situated at Predannack Airfield: A 320 hectare site, 600m from the sea, with 4 runways and multiple operating surfaces, suitable for fixed and rotary wing drone operations.
The National Drone Hub offers a range of hangarage, office and accommodation facilities for National Drone Hub customers. Details are available on request.

Expertise

WholeShip provide experienced personnel to assist in developing practical strategies to accelerate capability development through safe and effective test coordination; Planning, Execution and Analysis.WholeShip has also partnered with the UK Ministry of Defence and the Cornwall Space Cluster to create a regional knowledge transfer environment for the aerospace and space industry.
